Parent School Compact
Click on the button to view OBE's school compact. Parents are truly a partner with teachers, administration, support staff and the students themselves. All stakeholders have a vested interest in seeing all students achieve to their greatest potential so the situation is a win-win for all.
Oriole Beach Elementary maintains a parent information center just outside the main office (under the window). Feel free to pick up copies of information pamphlets or schedules. Parents may also find additional resources in the Library or by contacting the school guidance office.

Title I, Part A (Title I) of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, as amended (ESEA) provides financial assistance to local educational agencies (LEAs) and schools with high numbers or high percentages of children from low-income families to help ensure that all children meet challenging state academic standards.....Title I schools with percentages of students from low-income families of at least 40 percent may use Title I funds, along with other Federal, State, and local funds, to operate a "school wide program" to upgrade the instructional program for the whole school.
All students are helped
Since the funds OBE receives for its Title I population can be used to improve the academics of the school which includes Title I students, all students benefit from upgrades and improvements to school grounds, equipment and programs.
All school districts receiving funds from Title I, Part A are required to implement programs, activities, and procedures for the involvement of parents. The Santa Rosa County School Districts encourages parent involvement through the following activities:
